My newest clients in the Bothell area are searching for a wonderful nanny - family assistant for their adorable baby boy, who will be around three months old when the position begins. This family is embracing the joys and challenges of parenthood with open arms as they navigate their way through the early stages of life with their precious newborn. They are discovering the beauty in the little moments, from the sweet coos and giggles to the peaceful moments of restful slumber and finding wonder in the miracle of new life. This family could be described as homebodies, though they enjoy traveling, celebrating the holidays, and investing time in their work projects. This family has no pets.

ABOUT THE NANNY: The family is currently searching for a dedicated and compassionate nanny who has a natural affinity for working with children aged from infancy to preschool. The ideal candidate should possess a deep passion for providing quality care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. The successful applicant should create a warm, nurturing environment that helps stimulate and support the child's growth and development. If you have a self-directed and kind demeanor and are seeking a rewarding opportunity to positively impact a child's life, then this could be the perfect position for you.

A long-term client of mine in Montlake needs after-school care and light family assistance for their two children, ages seven and five. Their son can be described as caring, funny, friendly, athletic, and empathetic. He loves to play soccer, run, and swim. When indoors, he loves using his imagination to build Legos. His sister is thoughtful, a caregiver at heart, and observant. She values her independence, though she is not one to shy away from her silly and playful demeanor. She enjoys gymnastics and swimming, putting together puzzles, and playing make-believe with her stuffies. Both children will get out of school at 2:25p except on Wednesdays when they are out at 1:10p and will need to be picked up from school, which is very close to home. As a family, they make it a point to have dinner together every night and cherish the time spent with each other. They enjoy discovering the nearby parks and beaches, constantly on the lookout for exciting places to explore. They also make regular trips to bookstores and libraries to diversify their collection of books. In addition, they love to ride bikes, visit climbing gyms, and go on adventures, such as day trips to Bainbridge Island. This home has a dog that will not require the nannys assistance.

FAMILY VALUES: At the core of our family lies a strong set of values that guide us in our everyday lives. We believe in treating everyone with respect, regardless of their background or beliefs. Honesty and integrity are of utmost importance to us, and we strive to always be truthful in our words and actions. We also place great emphasis on helping others, whether they are members of our family or strangers in need. And when we make a mistake, we take full responsibility for our actions and do whatever it takes to make things right with those we may have wronged. These values are the foundation of our family, and we hold them dear to our hearts.

ABOUT THE NANNY: They are looking for a nanny who is engaging and interested in spending time with their children – someone who enjoys finding ways to engage with school-age children. They are also looking for someone who is motivated to help them develop their sense of self, foster their creativity, and invest in their school development, including math, reading, and writing. Their prior nannies have been caring and compassionate, patient and calm, positive and punctual; ideally, they are looking for their new nanny to have these attributes. They are looking for a nanny who values safety in every way, including in the car and when out with the kids. Lastly, they are a family that eats mostly from scratch, and they would love a nanny who enjoys meal prep (following recipes).

FROM THE PAST NANNY: “The family has been nothing short of absolutely amazing during my time with them. The parents are very understanding and considerate. They care so much and regularly check in on how I am and what I have been up to in my daily life. And at the end of every day, they create space to check in and update them on anything that may have arisen that day with the children. The kids are smart and kind. There is never a dull moment in the house, whether we are laughing, playing, reading books, or making a new project out of all the cardboard remaining in the house. It saddens me to be moving on from this family; I would stay forever if I could.”

A fun Queen Anne family is looking to find a fantastic nanny for their 7 and 13-year-old children, as their current nanny will be moving into her tutoring company full-time. Their oldest loves her drama classes and singing lessons. She loves attending ballet with her mom.  Their son enjoys Legos, Magna tiles, and anything he can build with. Despite their age gap, they get along well.  This family loves Disneyland and can be found riding the coasters over and over! Mom loves hiking in the beautiful PNW, and you can find Dad catching the newest release at the movies.   They have a small pug that is friendly.  Their son has been diagnosed with autism.  He is an awesome kiddo, and sometimes, he needs assistance with his communication. He has a wonderful app he uses and has been in some really great therapies and continues to.   He is a sensory seeker and may want to snuggle!

The after-school balance is tricky, especially as Dad travels several weeks out of the year, and they need someone who is up for after-school pick-ups. The nanny would stay with their son or head off to an activity with their daughter. If the nanny wants additional hours, they can assign additional family assistant duties before picking up.

They have two sweet pups!

ABOUT THE NANNY:  They are looking for a warm, kind, outgoing nanny who is great at making connections with school-age children.   A nanny who doesn’t mind singing to Disney music and building the biggest towers is encouraged to apply.  They are looking for a timely and punctual nanny who prides themselves on being reliable. Being a good role model is a plus!  Lastly, someone who has experience with neuro-diverse affirming ABA experience would be a huge plus.

A family in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle is looking for an infant nanny for their little girl.  Their daughter is only 4 months new, and she is an absolute delight. She has a sweet personality that lights up anyone's day. She is happy and seems to find joy in the simplest things. With her silly and playful antics, she keeps this family entertained all day. Despite being so young, she is incredibly curious about the world around her. What's even more remarkable is how relaxed and easygoing she is for a baby her age. She loves playing with hanging toys, having books read to her, listening to music/having silly songs sung to her.  This family is located within walking distance of both Cowen and Ravenna Park.

FAMILY VALUES: “We believe that keeping open and honest lines of communication is key to understanding each other and making sure that everyone is heard. We value showing compassion and respect for others during both the good and hard times. We stay curious about the world, others and ourselves. We also keep things fun and try not to take ourselves too seriously.”!”

ABOUT THE NANNY: This family is seeking a nanny who will provide attentive care to their baby while being patient, nurturing, kind, honest, and experienced in child care, especially with infants. The nanny should be able to help the baby reach important developmental milestones and have a genuine passion for working with children. In addition, they are looking for someone who will love our daughter like their own.  Someone who is punctual and reliable is a must.
