SUMMER 2026 PLACEMEntS

Every year, The Nanny Consultant completes a select number of summer placements. For Summer 2026, there is maximum of 10 placements. These positions will launch on March 1st, 2026. Summer positions are from June to August 2026.
​
If you wish to get on the waitlist, you will need to pay the non-refundable fee in advance.​
A placement through The Nanny Consultant includes ​​

Nanny shares
Nanny shares offer an ideal solution for families looking for high-quality, in-home childcare while also enjoying valuable social benefits. In this arrangement, two families share a nanny, allowing children to learn and play alongside a built-in best friend. Each family benefits from personalized care at a more cost-effective rate compared to hiring a nanny individually.

Most nanny share are around $44 to $48 ($23 to $24 per family) an hour.
​
Costs are the same as above under long term nanny only split down the middle for each family.
​
Additionally, at no additional charge I will assist a family in finding a nanny share family if they retain The Nanny Consultant services to hire a nanny.
ON CALL NANNY ChildCARE and Family Assistants
At The Nanny Consultant, we now offer a variety of on call nanny services. From date nights, overnights, and weekend care for you to getaway, to one-day family assistance to get your home up to speed. The Nanny Consultant ensures your child is in the best possible care. We are excited to be working with Seattle's best. Book our on call nanny services today and experience the ease and convenience of having a trusted caregiver available when you need it.

This service is $45 per day/booking (new customers) and $35 per day/booking (clients who hired a nanny through The Nanny Consultant), and each provider charges their own rate, generally between $35 to $40 per hour, depending on the services provided and experience.

TIMELINE The timeline for filling a position can vary from less than a week to up to 12 weeks, depending on the position. Additionally, it's important to keep in mind that most nannies need to provide a one-month to 45-day notice to their current family after signing the contract.
