EXPERIENCE
All applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience related to the age of the child in the position you are applying for, in a paid nanny role over the age of 18. While we greatly value the experience gained from being a mother, it does not count as professional experience and should not be listed.

Must write and speak English clearly,
Must provide reference names and numbers for the last five years of employment from the date of application submission.
Must be a licensed driver and have a car.
BALLARD INFANT NANNY NEEDED
RATE: Up to $38 per hour
START DATE: Ideally January 2027, though they wouldn't want to miss out on the perfect fit for an earlier start date
DAYS/HOURS: Monday through Thursday, ideally from 8a to 4p, they are flexible
LONGEVITY: Long-term
PETS: One 12 year old shepard mix

I’m excited to share that a wonderful family of three in the Ballard area of Seattle is looking for a warm, caring nanny for their sweet baby girl, who will be about 7 to 8 months old when the position begins! Their daughter is already showing so much personality! She is silly, sweet, stubborn, chatty, and curious. The family hopes to find someone who will nurture her growing personality and encourage her natural curiosity through reading, conversation, play, outdoor adventures, and engaging, age-appropriate activities. This family loves cooking, gardening, and hosting family and friends for meals in their home. They also enjoy spending time outside on walks and in the many local parks. Before welcoming their daughter, these moms traveled extensively, and as she gets older, they hope to share their love of travel with her.
The family also has one dog, Lily, a sweet 12-year-old shepherd mix.

Their ideal nanny will have experience caring for an infant of a similar age and feel comfortable supporting their daughter’s development, routines, milestones, and changing needs. Finding the right personality and long-term fit is most important to them. They hope to find someone patient, responsible, communicative, and genuinely happy to spend time with little ones. Their nanny should feel comfortable providing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.

ISSAQUAH FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED
RATE: Up to $45 per hour, depending on experience

I’m excited to share a wonderful opportunity with a family of four in the Issaquah Highlands looking for a kind, reliable, and highly capable Family Assistant/Nanny to join their household long-term!
The family has two boys, ages 13 and 11, who are at fun, increasingly independent ages with busy school and activity schedules. Their 13-year-old is enthusiastic, smart, imaginative, and independent. He loves science, Legos, school sports, and violin. Their 11-year-old is sweet, friendly, helpful, and fun-loving. He enjoys video games, spending time with friends, martial arts, and recreational soccer.
Most weekends, you’ll find this family at their second home in the cascade mountains, where they enjoy golfing together, riding bikes, swimming, playing in the snow during the winter, tackling projects, and simply spending time together. They also love traveling as a family for both adventure and relaxation.

ABOUT THE FAMILY ASSISTANT/NANNY// The family is looking for someone kind, reliable, trustworthy, patient, and communicative who can become a steady and dependable presence in their household. Their ideal candidate is organized, consistent, flexible within reason, tech savvy, and—most importantly—self-directed. They are looking for someone who can confidently see what needs to be done, take initiative, and help keep their busy household running smoothly without needing constant direction.
Because the boys are older and increasingly independent, this position is focused more on the Family Assistant component in addition to supporting their schedules and transportation needs. Strong kitchen skills are especially important! The ideal candidate will feel comfortable with meal planning, grocery-related organization, and preparing healthy family meals.
