EXPERIENCE
All applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience related to the age of the child in the position you are applying for, in a paid nanny role over the age of 18. While we greatly value the experience gained from being a mother, it does not count as professional experience and should not be listed.

A welcoming family in Bothell, near Canyon Park, is seeking a caring, dependable nanny to help their mornings or afternoons (or both) run smoothly so the parents can head to work with peace of mind. They would love to begin as soon as possible and anticipate needing morning care for the next five years. Their current nanny has been with them for four years, and they hope to build another lasting relationship. They have three boys, two 7-year-old twins and their brother is 5 years of age. The boys are generally good listeners who enjoy playing, being silly, and staying active. Their home is very kid-centered, with plenty of activities to enjoy. The family loves playing games, visiting the many nearby public parks, and spending time outside during the summer.

Two Labradoodles and a cat also share the home, so applicants should be comfortable around pets.

This person should be kind but firm and bring a calm, confident presence to busy mornings. Someone who can keep the children on track with patience, clear boundaries, and a sense of humor would be a wonderful fit. Reliability and punctuality are essential in this role. If you need extra hours and are someone who enjoys family assistant duties or could work a split shift there is up to 20 hours available in this role.

A Seattle family in the charming Mt. Baker neighborhood is seeking a nanny for their son, who recently celebrated his first birthday. This family loves getting out and about—meeting friends at the park, taking family mini-adventures to discover new places, and arranging playdates with their son’s friends. They are also enjoying swim classes and pre-school with his friends. When I asked this family what words they would use to describe him, they said happy, active, curious, talkative, and affectionate. They have two very friendly dogs; they think the active one may go to daycare on nanny days, while the other may stay home.
